I don't know. However let us look what happened with many paper
journals and books in mathematics. They were digitalized either
legally or illegally to/or pdf or djvu formats.

If in 30 years the humanity will be around and pdf format becomes
obsolete and no pdf readers will be around, there will be
pdf-to-new_format converters and all journals and books will be
converted (even if tex sources will be lost): digitalization was much
more difficult and time consuming process
