[texhax] PSTricks strangeness?

Hello,

Why the "oversigned" numbers don't work with PSTricks, while it's possible with TeX?

for instance in PSTricks:
  \rput{--30}(0,0){fool text}    ----> gives out an error

in TeX:
 \newdim\tempdima
 \tempdima = --30pt            -----> no error!
