Hello,

has somebody tried the package "vertbars". This runs (internally) with the lineno-package and 
in its information provides a "switch" option, which should assure that the produced "bar" is on the outside of the page (even if twoside) automatically. But the switch option does not work,. With usepackage{vertbars} I get all bars on the left side, 
with usepackage[switch]{vertbars} no bars at all.

Any help welcome.
