[texhax] updating bst files

I have been maintaining a set of bst files for biologists.

They are all at

http://alum.mit.edu/www/toms/ftp/

Someone just reported to me that the nar.bst didn't work correctly
and I fixed it:

http://alum.mit.edu/www/toms/ftp/nar.bst

In doing this I discovered that the nar.bst

/usr/local/texlive/2011/texmf-dist/bibtex/bst/beebe/nar.bst

is 20 years out of date!  How does one go about updating these?  Is
there an easy batch method?
