[texhax] letterspacing with XeLaTeX

Just to follow-up, the LetterSpace feature did work for me, but it
required me to specify the letterspacing as a percentage of the font
height.  

The number I actually have, however, is letterspacing in em/1000 units,
which seemed perfect for the soul package.  So I went with that.
