Hi Veerappa Chetty,

I think the error messages you get, are unrelated to the type of PDF
viewers (Sumatra, Acrobat Reader) you use.

It is unclear from your emails, if you are using pdflatex or latex. As
Juergen pointed out, `latex' and `pdflatex' are complementary --
latex works only with EPS and pdflatex works with most types of image
formats and with a little tweaking, with EPS as well
(http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX/Importing_Graphics,
http://mintaka.sdsu.edu/GF/bibliog/latex/figures.html and
http://www.tex.ac.uk/cgi-bin/texfaq2html?label=pdftexgraphics).

Also (others please correct me if I am wrong), it appears that you are
using several obsolete packages for which newer replacements are
available? (for eg., instead of \epsfigure try \includegraphics).
However, you may have your own reasons for that. A google search
reveals that you can get floatfig.sty (the reason for your error
message `file "floatfig.sty" not found') from here:
http://www.ccrnp.ncifcrf.gov/~toms/ftp/floatfig.sty

Also, please have a look at: http://tobi.oetiker.ch/lshort/lshort.pdf

"Why, what did she tell you?"
	"I don't know, I didn't listen."
