I do not know about an automated backref thing, but how about putting
\label{Place of Quotation} (with a unique identifier) at the place where
you speak of the figure, and then \ref{Place of Quotation} (or \pageref? I
very usually don't use \ref and its siblings...) within the figure? I did
not test it, but I think that should work.
