[texhax] font installation question

Hello,

This may be the wrong mail list for this question but if it is, could you
suggest a better one.

I have a question regarding installing fonts on an iMac suitable for use
within MS Word.

I do have the typical font (letters and figures) installed and working now.
 (the .ttf files are located
in the /Library/Fonts folder)   But when I try to install an ornaments file
(again a .ttf file)
MS Word does not show anything.   The .ttf file shows up just fine in the
Font Book Mac application.

I have attached an ornaments font file as an example chra.ttf.
