[texhax] Weird citations when using the documentclass and Bibtex stylefile of the Association for Symbolic Logic

Dear Sir/Madam,

when I do a citation using \cite{key} together with the documentclass and
Bibtex stylefile of the Association for Symbolic Logic together with the
package pstricks I get a weird output.

If the reference I want is the first one I will get [1, ] instead of a [1]
in the pdf. My coauthor is compiling using pdfTeXk Version 3.1415926-1.40.9
and does not get the problem. I tried with the follwoing compilers.

pdfTeX Version 3.14159265-2.6-1.40.15
pdfTeX Version 3.1415926-2.5-1.40.14

Attached to this email are the files that provide a minimal example of the
bug I encounter.
