[texhax] Looking for a "pdf" printer

I'm not having a problem with the Acrobat Reader and I don't have have 
Acrobat (paid version) as stated above. The problem is I want an ability 
to form pdf files from non pdf. Acrobat has that capability the reader 
does not.

I do have a subscription for PhotoShop and know that I can add Acrobat. 
but did you know that would double my monthly cost? it doesn't seem 
worthy it to me so I'm seeking alternatives. Also as I've indicated 
above, Acrobat doesn't work and play well with my TeX tools 
(specifically WinEdt and MikTeX). There are all sorts of conflicts when 
you are using PdfLatex.
