[texhax] hyperref + rotating (was help)

Shy Bob has reported off-list to me that my previous suggestion
about \phantomsection magic did not heal his problem.

I feel we only recently had a request about a hyperlink to a
place in the same document where the printed number was correct.

I do not understand \phantomsection indeed, while I have experience
with \hypertarget etc.

Bob, code snippets in a request often help helping. How does your
referring command and the page with the table and \label (with a
selection from the sideways environment) look like? Ideally, you
could present a two- or three-page document that has the same problem.

A way out could be replacing a \ref{LABEL} by

    \hypertarget{LABEL2}

near the table and \label{LABEL} and replacing \ref{LABEL} by

    \hyperlink{LABEL2}{\ref*{LABEL}}

Or maybe only your \label{LABEL} needs to be moved slightly!

If the list doesn't answer properly, you could try some
tex.stackexchange forum and/or directly ask the maintainer of hyperref,
as your problem may show an incompatibility of the `hyperref' package
with the `rotating' package. In any case, however, you will always be
asked for a minimal working example before getting a real answer.

HTH -- Uwe.
