[texhax] TextLive 2016 install problem

I am new to Tex, and I installed MacTex 2016. My preferences also contain distribution 2015. I heard that TexLive 2016 is installed on MacTeX 2016, but could not find it. 

So I downloaded the separate TexLive 2016 and now I am getting this message on terminal after running install-tl in my download folder: “failed: permission denied at…”
