Well, it isn't like running Windows binaries under Wine on Linux. Wine
is an emulator. Fink is a framework to compile real Mac OS X
applications -- e.g. what you get is a native binary.
Btw, if you don't like Fink, there's always NetBSD's pkgsrc :-)
