Hey J
To fix the problem directly, rather than the roundabout method my
package uses, you can simply put these two files in appropriate places:
-------------- next part --------------
A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
Name: bsrx.map
Type: application/octet-stream
Size: 3396 bytes
Desc: not available
Url : http://tug.org/pipermail/xetex/attachments/20041207/7c510449/bsrx-0001.obj

and run
sudo updmap --disable bsr.map --nohash
sudo updmap --enable MixedMap=bsrx.map
Then calling the fonts directly will work, rather than using xeusXXX
instead. I don't believe this has an adverse effect on the rest of the
TeX system when using these fonts, but I wasn't sure when I sorted it
out and put the package together. This is what I'd recommend you
include in your next version of the XeTeX distribution.
In hindsight, this is a much easier solution than I told everyone to
take.
BTW, Is the "Z" in eusm10 not correct in your system? It's certainly
not for me: (that's eusm7 below it)

But I might have done that to my copy of the font while experimenting
at some stage...
Ciao
