This time, I can't reproduce the problem -- by chance, are you asking  
for "Script=Greek" before "ExternalLocation"?
At the moment, "ExternalLocation" is the only fontspec option for  
which order matters, but I would like to change this.
This works for me:

\usepackage{fontspec}
\begin{document}

      Script=Greek,
      ItalicFont={[GFSDidotItalic]},
      BoldFont={[GFSDidotBold]},

      ExternalLocation,
