[XeTeX] Lucida fonts

Hi!

I know that it is possible to use ef. Lucida fonts (sold now by tug.org)
with xetex, but considering that xetex is meant to be used with otf
fonts, I'm interested whether is recommended to buy complete set of
Lucida fonts or is there a chance that they will get converted into
Opentype format?
