[XeTeX] Display quality of fonts

No, I didn't.

I only observed problems with the integrated PDF viewers in KDE and
GNOME. With xpdf only bitmap fonts rendered bad.

Not here ([1] showing gv with a PDF file produced by pdfTeX and type
1 fonts). The XeTeX PDF can't be displayed at all:
