Yep, that's how this whole thing started :)
There's no precedent that I'm aware of for this sort of thing.
I'm happy to leave things as they stand.

(unless they're just Zapf knock-offs, which is highly likely, in fact
-- I've a couple of so-called "Zapf Chancery" shapes lying around
from somewhere...never taken much look but filed them away in my head
for interest's sake. The original metal Zapf Chancery indeed had many
weights and variants but I believe was never fully digitised. My Zapf
book's at home, so I can't check...)
