[XeTeX] An error with XeTeX (win32) and fontspec package underMiKTeX

Relevant *.fd files seem to use Kpathsea rather than fontconfig.
Maybe your Kpathsea setting is incorrect or incomplete, since
you are working in mixed environment.
Please check the output of
(1) kpsewhich --expand-braces \$TEXMF
(2) kpsewhich --var-value=TEXMFMAIN
(3) kpsewhich --var-value=SELFAUTOLOC
(4) kpsewhich --var-value=SELFAUTODIR
(5) kpsewhich --var-value=SELFAUTOPARENT
