Hmmm, I can't imagine you're using maths in music too much so
    \usepackage[no-math]{fontspec}
should do the trick for you.

Otherwise, you can say something like
   \let\oldbreve\breve
   \usepackage{fontspec}
   \let\breve\oldbreve
