I am still having problems with some Hebrew fonts
using Xetex. The included pdf file was created with
the following code. The Heb. is fine in EzraSIL but
not in SBLHebrew or Cardo (look first line fifth word
from the right).
I tried without bidi or memoir but the result is the
same.
%!TEX TS-program = xelatex
%!TEX encoding = UTF-8 Unicode
\documentclass[12pt,article]{memoir}
\TeXXeTstate=1
\usepackage{fontspec,xunicode,xltxtra}
\usepackage{pdfsync}
\usepackage{bidi}
\defaultfontfeatures{Scale=2}
\setmainfont[Scale=1]{Hoefler Text}
\newfontfamily{\sbl}[Script=Hebrew]{SBLHebrew}
\newfontfamily{\car}[Script=Hebrew]{Cardo}
\newfontfamily{\ez}[Script=Hebrew]{EzraSIL}
\title{Your Title}
\author{Your Name}
\date{}
\begin{document}
\maketitle
SBL
\begin{quote}
\setRL
{\sblHebrew text
}
\setLR
\end{quote}
