Fc-list seems to return a font name alias first, and the same seems  
to be true for the font variant. (Both surely is not true.) So you  
might have more luck by choosing the bold face from Jenson Pro,  
although the subhead variant is not standardised in NFSS2. What  
guarantees success is to use the font file's pathname ...
