No, because:

Same here. But from what I know of PDF-X/1a specs, I would guess that  
this procedure converts a given RGB value to a CMYK equivalent,  
rather than replacing it. RGB 1,0,1 converted to CMYK is not pure  
Magenta. You have to state somewhere explicitly that the channels for  
C, Y, and K need a zero value. In PitStop, it is possible to select a  
RGB-color and to replace it with an arbitrary other one, RGB or CMYK.
