[XeTeX] XeTeX doesn't compile (Snow Leopard)

There doesn't seem to be an indication in the sources, for example  
different declarations of this function depending on OS or whatever  
versions. I presume it's just that Jonathan is now mainly developing  
and compiling on Linux or MS Losedos and so the Mac variant is a bit  
unattended...
