[XeTeX] [tex-live] Problems after updating texlive 2009

    "metalogo.sty" not found. 

Sorry, but I can't say why it's not being found.  As far as I can tell
it is in the TL2009 tlnet fine; it is part of collection-latexextra.  It
was last updated on Sept 5.

As for how to recover, the first question is whether metalogo.sty is
actually installed on your system but lyx isn't finding it -- in which
case, you'll need to do something with lyx; I have no clue about lyx.

If the file isn't on your system at all you could try 
  tlmgr update metalogo
or
  tlmgr install metalogo
