[XeTeX] \tableofcontents and [Glenn]fncychap conflict

An excellent question. This same problem and a solution by Ulrike
Fischer was posted more than three years ago:

Someone also posted that the author of the (fncychap?) package should
be contacted. Does anyone know if he/she was contacted?
