No. Only patched sources are available, patched binaries are not.

Updating binaries would not mean living on cutting edge, but rather
getting bug fixes.

I'm sorry.

I was already wondering how one could have TL 2011 on Ubuntu (I have
never heard of Ubuntu switching to TL 2011), but as I already said:
even if one is using original TeX Live 2011, the synctex bugs leading
to non-working synchronisation in TeXworks are still present. (I don't
understand why binaries are not rebuilt.)
