[XeTeX] horizontal alignment

No doubts, I never intended to mean it was a XeTeX bug, I'm quite sure it's my 
fault. However I'm using XeTeX, not plain LaTeX, so I posted here.

Tried, but the only hint I got is that the problem is caused by something that 
is actually there but it's invisible...
