It also works with

	This is XeTeX, Version 3.1415926-2.3-0.9997.5 (TeX Live 2011) (format=xelatex 2012.4.29)

on Mac OS X.

Since you have two systems with different results you could add

	\listfiles

in the preamble, maybe as first line. Then you'll get in the end (of the run and of the LOG file) a list of files used for this job. By comparing these files you could find possible cause(s).

It's also possible to modify (minimise, decimate) your file until you hit the statement that causes the failure. I presume it's the shading at the top: at page="1" position="(1.09453e-05, 236.693)" (in PDF).


It's actually xetex which does not include this code block into the XDV file:

	pdf: beginxobj @pgfshadebeamer at headfade width 364.19536pt height 35.56593pt

Another option is not to use the Singapore theme. It's only that theme that uses this "headfade" thing.
