Hello,
I am not really sure what you are asking. However, many fonts have support for polytonic Greek
and as long your input file is a UTF-8 encoded file, there is absolutely no problem.
Now if you want to automatically transform Greek text that is encoded in some 8-bit ASCII
encoding, then you can use some Perl script to make reencoding.
