[XeTeX] XeTeX OpenType Features bug?

This list has /already/ been helpful as it helped me find a workaround.

To reiterate my earlier messages, using \fontspec{Hoefler 
Text}[Renderer=OpenType,
RawFeature={+smcp}]does get me small caps, while using \textsc or 
\scshapedoes not.
