[XeTeX] combine 2 glyphs with xelatex

Hello

Hmm.  Would it work if in the \overstrike argument you put in a ghost
consonant by enclosing it in \phantom{} - so it is present as far as TeX is
concerned but not actually output visibly?

But alas, I have no experience of handling these exotic fonts.
