LaTeX workshop at TUG 2019

On Friday, August 9, we will provide an introductory/intermediate LaTeX workshop, led by Sue DeMeritt and Cheryl Ponchin. The approximate syllabus in PDF (and LaTeX source) are available.

This one-day workshop will run concurrently with the first day of the main conference. It will be held in “Location 1107” (Breakout Room), on the street level of the hotel.

There is a limit of 15 participants. So, if you want to attend the workshop, please reserve your spot as soon as possible; just check the box on the conference registration form.

You can also register for the workshop separately from the main conference (using that same registration form), for a small fee.

The workshop will include time for individual one-on-one attention, so feel free to bring any specific questions or problems you might have.

Participants should bring their own laptops (and have TeX installed if at all possible). Otherwise, we hope people will be able to share.

TeXShop tips & tricks

An interactive workshop for users of TeXShop who want to get to know about some of the lesser-known but useful features of that front end to a TeX distribution on the Mac. Led by Herb Schulz, after the regular session on the second day. No pre-registration necessary.
