[tex-k] dvips error

Hi,
I am trying to run dvips and I get the error message:

' TeX output 2011.02.13:2140' -> yalta-energy-meboot.ps
dvips: ! Couldn't find header file groff.enc.
Note that an absolute path or a relative path with .. are denied in -R2 mode.

This happens when the program is called within Kile as well as from
the console. I would be grateful for any help or suggestions.
