[tex-k] tlmgr update not possible

Dear TL team,

I'm seeing this message

$ tlmgr update --all

/opt/texlive/2024/bin/x86_64-linux/tlmgr: TLPDB::from_file could not 
initialize from: 
https://mirror.ctan.org/systems/texlive/tlnet/tlpkg/texlive.tlpdb
/opt/texlive/2024/bin/x86_64-linux/tlmgr: Maybe the repository setting 
should be changed.
/opt/texlive/2024/bin/x86_64-linux/tlmgr: More info: 
https://tug.org/texlive/acquire.html

right now on both my systems (Linux TeX Live 2024 and MacOS BasicTeX 
2024). I hope this to be an intermittent issue.
