Thanks. I made a
svn switch http://scripts.sil.org/svn-public/xdvipdfmx/BRANCHES/macosx
in my working copy of the xdvipdfmx source and build a new version. I
cannot reporduce the off-by-one glyph errors any more, and no other
problems have surfaced so far.
Actually there was a minor problem: The above branch contains
'config.guess' and 'config.sub' which also existed in my working copy.
No real problem, but superfluous.
